ICELANDIC SHEEPSKIN

The Icelandic sheep are well suited to the country and the harsh weather conditions. They spend most of their days during the Spring and Summer months roaming freely around the countryside where they enjoy grazing on the fresh herbs and grasses.

The wool is naturally long and shaggy in appearance.  Each rug is of premium quality and has gone through a process which helps to preserve their natural beauty.

ICELANDIC SHEEPSKIN CARE

DO NOT WASH. For spills, remove using a mild diluted detergent on a damp cloth. Then use a dry cloth to help dry the area, once dry brush you can then through. Do not use any heat source to dry the wool, let the wool dry naturally.

DO NOT PLACE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT

NOT SUITABLE FOR DRY CLEANING

If the wool has been dyed then colour transfer can occur.  Please note that if the shade states that it is ‘Natural’ then please allow for variation regarding the shade/pattern.

Please note, as with all natural hides and skins, you may find minor imperfections on the leather side, such as fraying, and thinning in parts.  This is just natural, and is not faulty or damaged.
